In the coming months, SCBWI Korea will plan a variety of events such as casual meet-ups at a local coffee shop, author presentations, agent interviews and even some field trips to many of the book-related places in our area.
Events in the local area that are sponsored by SCBWI Korea, as well as member events around the region will be posted here. If you have an event that you want to list, please let us know!
If you are a member of SCBWI Korea, you may list your class, meeting, art show or workshop here, as long as it relates to children’s literature. If you know of an event that might be of interest to our members, please email the regional advisor.
SCBWI holds two annual conferences. The 2009 dates are as follows:
10th Annual Winter Conference

38th Annual Summer Conference
August 7 - 10, 2009
Los Angeles, CA
In addition, there is an annual SCBWI conference in Bologna, Italy each Spring.
At these events, the SCBWI brings together top professionals in the children's book industry to share their knowledge and expertise with attendees. These conferences are also excellent networking opportunities for those already established in the children's industry and for those just starting to enter the fantastic (yet demanding) world of children's book writing and illustrating.
